Our purpose

Statistics show that in Australia, people of culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds (CALD) have poorer health outcomes and access to healthcare. This is inclusive of our Pacific Islander, North-East, and South-East Asian communities. At Health of Pacific Islander and Asian Communities (HPAC) we are determined to fill this gap by learning more about the health literacy, including ehealth, of young people from Pacific Islander, North-East and South-East Asian backgrounds.
